" Come on, a little blood letting never hurt anyone!"

Its rather funny that at the same time the mosquito's hatch out in a blood thirsty fervor, so do blood drives.
The school blood drive just started, people walk by proudly displaying their bandaged arm. Their new t-shirts adorning their chests. Satisfied they have served their duty as blood donors. I might not have donated blood to human kind yet but I believe we(mosquito blood bags) should get some credit as well. It is far more painful to give blood to mosquito's, the itching and burning goes on and on.

Shade Hopping

Their once was a very difficult period of time in my life that I call shade hopping. I would walk from small patch of shade to small patch of shade trying to find shelter from the sun.
Sometimes I would not realize when it was time to move on and had a difficult time disengaging my tongue

Then I would once again leave in search of another minuscule patch of shade.

Box 4- once on my twentieth shade hop of the day I ran across a beautiful patch of shade, much larger than I had enjoyed in an expansive period of time. The only problem was a small furry bunny who was also taking part in the delish of the shadow. But I did not consider that a problem, we could share, I looked forward to befriending the cute creature.

As I approached closer I started to pick up a bad vibe from the bunny, almost like it wanted me to go away. But that could not be, no creature would turn away another, I had watched all the Disney films and was already hoping on a Thumper. Its ears were pinned against its head and it was glaring at me reproachfully, twitching every few seconds. It must be afraid of me I skillfully deducted, or has a foxtail lodged up its nose, approaching it further I acted as meek and domesticated as I could I prepared my introduction in which I would praise his soft fur and request entry into his humble abode, in which we would then become good friends and live happily ever after together until the patch of shade faded away in the next thirty minutes.

However I did not get a chance to say my speech. The previously cute bunny jumped up on its hind legs opened its mouth and showed its true nature, like a nature film when you’re watching pretty lions lazing about and your calling them cute and wondering if one could domesticate them, then you notice the lion is now stalking an adorable baby gazelle and you’re wondering if the lion is going to adopt the baby gazelle into its family, and then the lion pounces on it gracefully and tears its neck out.

Thorley taken at back I whip around and dash away as fast as my legs will take me, leaving the rabbit to his peace and tranquility.

After meandering many miles and miles sufferig from demetea and extreme dehydration I noticed a large patch of blue, a POND!

Overwhelmed with joy I picked up my pace.

Strangely as I approached the water it seemed to get smaller rather than larger.
Then I noticed that a large gray lump was by the water’s edge

I than realized why the water was retreating, it was being consumed by and elephant! I galloped toward it hoping to get the last few drops but even as I watched the elephant drank the last.

Just feet away I blubbered letting out my remorse in the form of mucus and tears, I was so thirsty.

Then as if answering my prayers a drop fell from the elephants trunk, WATER, renewed with new hope I dashed toward it preparing to do a slide on the home plate. However a bird seemed to have the same plan. And a bird can fly, and despite humans saying riding is like flying, we horses can’t fly.

The bird caught the droplet in its beak and flew away, the water quickly going to its gullet, where it would go to complete waste.

It was to much for me and I collapsed dead to the world, no longer caring if A BIRD HAD MANAGED TO GRAB MY DROP OF AQUA! All these changes of emotions had exhausted me to the point of dying and saw the white light

Then I felt a trickle of water run down my face, and It turned into a gush.

                                                                       WATER!!!!

Looking for my savior I realized it was the elephant. Rising to my feet I followed in its footsteps. .

Not just because it had saved my life, but also because the elephant provided a huge everlasting patch of shade. Yep I'd say this was a case for Dumbo the elephant! (No one can say I lost trust in Disney)( If none of you get my reference look it up).
